Getting in-demand actors together is, by nature, a nightmare of schedules. And, when your star and writer/director play key roles in commanding two of cinema's most iconic and most lucrative franchises, it makes it that much harder.
But, occasionally, everything lines up, as it did for new caper Knives Out.
While producers at LucasFilm are planning the future of Star Wars, Rian Johnson had a little time on his hands before he dives back into making a new trilogy of films in a galaxy far, far away, so he decided to have some fun and write a murder mystery.
To do this, he needed a leading man. And, after production on the new James Bond film was delayed after the departure of director Danny Boyle, suddenly Daniel Craig too had a gap. Together they came for Knives Out. Pdf editor application free download.
The film stars Craig as a detective named Benoit Blanc, who is called to investigate after Christopher Plummer's Harlan Thrombey is found dead at his estate just after his 85th birthday.
Sorry To Bother You's Lakeith Stanfield, Ana de Armas, Jamie Lee Curtis, Toni Collette, Don Johnson, Michael Shannon, Chris Evans, Katherine Langford, Jaeden Martell and Christopher Plummer are in supporting roles.
Knives Out is released on DVD on Monday (March 30th), but, back before it hit cinemas, we caught an early screening and have rounded up five reasons why you'll love it..

Everybody is having so much fun..
This is a film steeled and revelling in the tropes and the history of its genre. The cast fully lean in, packing the film with suspicious looks and furrowed brows. Each scene crackles and thrills. It's a total blast.
Particularly Daniel Craig..
It would have been easy for Craig to say no to this, for him to spend a bit more time in the gym getting ready for the mountain of stunts he was about to put his body through making No Time To Die.
But how could he not? This role is joyous. Inboard vs outboard. A raucous Southern drawl, sharp suits and the chance to dole out even sharper comebacks from an armchair, all the while playing a super sleuth. He's channelling Sherlock Holmes, he's channelling Hercule Poirot, all the great detectives, and he excels.
There are some blasts of action too..
Though this is a tight, tense mystery, and does feature plenty of theorising and arguing in small, dimly lit rooms. But when it breaks out, it does so in a big way.
Minecraft windows edition. It keeps you guessing to the very end..
This is billed as a classic whodunnit, but once it gets going it unravels itself in a very different way. It's compelling, pacy and completely engrossing.
We really hope this isn't the last we see of Benoit Blanc..
As we discussed, Johnson and Craig are both men in demand, but with Bond almost in the rearview mirror, we're sure Craig could find some time to reprise this role. It would be fantastic.
